This program is comprised of men and women ages 18 and up who assist with educational programs, visitors, and events at the Zoo.
Activities include:
-
Educate Zoo visitors about a variety of animals and nature.
-
Develop and present programs and events which raise funds for the educational programs.
-
Assist with events and camps.
-
Assist with training Junior Docents during animal close-ups.

Membership
Being a Docent is simple, fun, and the hours are flexible. Members must have a current Dakota Zoo Membership to participate.
The Zoo relies heavily on the volunteer efforts of many generous people.
