Frog Watch Training

04/06/2019 10:00 AM  - 04/06/2019  11:00 AM

Learn about Dakota Zoo conservation efforts with the Frog Watch program.

The Red Eyed Tree Frog is not native to North Dakota, but 9 varieties of frogs and toads are! Hop in to the zoo on Saturday, April 6 from 10:00 AM in the Bismarck Tribune Discovery Center and learn to identify the calls of all nine species as we host our first FrogWatch USA training session of 2019. This training session is open to the public.

We are excited to collaborate with the University of Mary to host a FrogWatchUSA chapter. This citizen science program will allow our members, visitors and friends to take a hands-on role in wildlife conservation.

Please note: Gates will be open from 9:45 to 10 AM for persons attending the Frog Watch training session. Regular zoo hours that day are 1-5PM.
